Distinctions of the NDNU MA ED Program
- Candidates used action research as the foundation for their master’s thesis, allowing the opportunity to investigate in depth a particular area of curriculum and instruction within their own classroom or school
- Credentialed teachers can transfer up to 6-units of graduate level coursework not applied to another degree
- Program graduates include master teachers, mentors, department chairs, school leaders, instructional designers, curriculum developers, educational consultants, managers in non- profit organizations, college and university faculty
State Authorization for Online Programs
The Department of Education requires that institutions offering online or distance learning programs outside of their home states must seek authorization to operate from regulatory bodies in those states. Each state has a different set of requirements when it comes to allowing out-of-state colleges and universities to offer online degree programs to its residents.
