Minimum Specifications for University-Approved Devices

To ensure the best experience with our university systems, software, and applications, your device should meet the following minimum specifications.

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 (8th generation or later)
  • RAM: 8GB or more (for smooth multitasking)
  • Storage: 256GB SSD or higher (SSD for faster performance)
  • Graphics: Integrated graphics (Intel UHD or AMD Vega)
  • Display: 13.3” to 15.6” Full HD (1920Ă—1080) or higher resolution
  • Operating System: Windows 10 Home or Pro (64-bit)
  • Battery Life: At least 6 hours of battery life for on-the-go use
  • Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) or higher
  • Ports: One USB 3.0 or USB-C, HDMI, and headphone jack for peripherals

  • Processor: Apple M1/M2 chip or Intel Core i5 (8th generation or later)
  • RAM: 8GB or more (16GB recommended for more demanding tasks)
  • Storage: 256GB SSD or higher (SSD for quicker access to files and applications)
  • Graphics: Integrated Apple GPU (for M1/M2 chips)
  • Display: 13.3” Retina display with a resolution of 2560Ă—1600 or better
  • Operating System: macOS Monterey or later
  • Battery Life: At least 10 hours of battery life
  • Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for faster internet connectivity
  • Ports: USB-C/Thunderbolt 3, headphone jack
