Randall heads up the university鈥檚 efforts to provide high quality academic support for students

BELMONT, CALIF. (April 18, 2022) 鈥 Notre Dame 91福利资源站 (NDNU) announced the appointment of Randall Sessler, Ph.D., as the director of its newly established Academic Support Center (ASC). The center provides academic consultations, workshops, and tutoring services to our students as part of our commitment to their academic success and enhancing their collegiate experience at NDNU.

鈥淚f students are to succeed, we need to be proactive in integrating comprehensive support that bridges the gap between student knowledge and course material,鈥 said School of Business and Management interim Dean James Fogal. 鈥淒r. Sessler鈥檚 background and past successes make him well suited to design and build those services which better prepare our students for success in their courses and then even setting them up for success with professional ambitions.鈥

Dr. Sessler shared, 鈥淲hen people ask me what I do for a living, I typically answer, I am in the empowerment business. This belief informs all that I do. As a member of the NDNU community, I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues to make the Academic Success Center and all its services empowering, inspiring, and impactful.鈥
