BELMONT, Calif. (March 25, 2021) 鈥 Notre Dame 91福利资源站 (NDNU) Interim President Dan Carey announced today the appointment of two new members to the university鈥檚 Board of Trustees. Joining the Board are NDNU graduates Stephanie Biehl, Esq. and Manuel Nungaray, MBA.

鈥淲e are delighted to welcome Stephanie and Manny to the Board. As proud graduates of NDNU, both have exemplified the social justice mission of the school in their personal endeavors. They will bring this same passion and commitment to their roles on the Board,鈥 Board Chair Sr. Jean Stoner said.

Dan Carey stated, 鈥淏oth Stephanie and Manny bring personal and professional experience that will help us build the NDNU of the future while remaining true to our mission. The Board will benefit from their deep knowledge of NDNU and their leadership experience in the local community.鈥

Stephanie Biehl is currently a Senior Associate with Sher Edling, LLP, a leading environmental law firm, where she is lead attorney in water contamination and climate change cases. She also serves as Board Chair for the non-profit Success Through Education Program (STEP) in San Mateo, which provides education and job training for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals. Stephanie graduated from NDNU with degrees in Business Administration and Spanish Studies, and she received her JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Manny Nungaray is currently Executive Director of Development and Campaign Operations at San Francisco State University, and he currently serves on the board of directors for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. He held positions of increasing leadership in the Development department at NDNU from 2000 to 2016, including Executive Director of Development and Executive Director of Major and Planned Gifts. Manny graduated from the College of Notre Dame with a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting and a Master鈥檚 in Business Administration with a concentration in finance.
