Dr. Robynn Battle comes to our NDNUteam with over 25 years of experience conducting community-based research and evaluation, with a strong emphasis on community engagement. This means that much of her work has involved making data collection processes culturally relevant and ensuring the dissemination of research and evaluation findings is are also culturally relevant. She also has extensive experience in helping community-based organizations build their capacity to use in-house data for building up programming, in addition to sharing program findings and engaging targeted communities on how the findings impact individuals and the community as a whole. In addition to being a lecturer with the School of Education, Dr. Battle is a part-time evaluation specialist with UC San Francisco for a statewide tailored assistance group, The LOOP, which provides tailored tobacco control and health equity assistance.
