Dr. Ofiesh is a cognitive behavioral scientist and a credentialed special education teacher. She was the former Executive Director of the Schwab Learning Center at Stanford. While at Stanford she co-designed and co-taught a course on Neurodiversity and Design Thinking in the School of Medicine. She remains a guest lecturer in the Schools of Engineering and Medicine at Stanford. Her faculty and research roles include positions at Penn State University, University of Arizona and Notre Dame 91¸£Àû×ÊÔ´Õ¾, where she was Program Director of Special Education and Department Chair, and the University of Utah. She often serves as an expert for the US Department of Justice, Office of Civil Rights. Her work has influenced federal guidance on the provision of high stakes test accommodations for individuals with disabilities. She is currently Co-Founder and President of Brain Explained Products, an AI tool and online marketplace to support learners and teachers in college and the workplace.
