John Veitch is the Dean of the School of Business and Management. A Canadian native, John graduated from Trinity College, University of Toronto, with a bachelor’s degree in Economicsbachelor’s degree in economics. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University in 1985. His areas of cous focus were Financial Institutions, Monetary Economics and Economic Forecasting. He has done research in the area ofin international finance, monetary economics, and discrimination in financial markets. John has over three decades of experience as a faculty member, department chair and associate dean at the University of San Francisco, as well as Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California. He also was Head of Planning for the Learning Experience, Assessment and Development area within the CFA Institute where transformed the skill- and competency-based curriculum for investment management and helped transition CFA to a digital-first platform.
