Lakiba Pittman is a college professor, a compassion ambassador, a mindfulness educator, and a diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging thought leader. At NDNU, she teaches Race & Ethnicity. At Menlo College, she teaches DEIB in the Workplace, Race & Racism, Cultural Expressions in Media, and Transition to College. She is also a creative artist and poet. Lakiba is a Senior Instructor for Compassion Cultivation Training workshops designed at Stanford鈥檚 Center for Compassion & Altruism, Research & Education, and a Trained Instructor for Mindful Self Compassion, Mind Body Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mind-Body Medicine, and Healing Together. Before coming to Menlo College, Professor Pittman was a Leadership Development & Diversity Manager at HP and Agilent Technologies before starting her own consulting business, Corporate Creative Solutions.
